Pastoral visits with Communion: If your health or mobility renders you unable to attend on Sundays and you wish Rev. Ramona to bring Holy Communion to your home, please email her (or call/text at 612-201-6634).

The Advent IV Eucharist will be celebrated at 10:00AM, in person and via Zoom; login instructions above. The morning’s bulletin is available to view or download.

Join us for Coffee Hour snacks, puzzling, and fellowship immediately following in the Undercroft.

Christmas Eve: Celebrate the birth of our Savior at the 5:00PM Holy Eucharist with choir, in person and via Zoom; login instructions above.

Christmas Day: Rejoice with all of creation at our intimate 10:00AM Eucharist, held in the choir stalls. This service will be offered in-person only.

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for the Church of the Province of Uganda.

In the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer, we pray for the Bishop and his staff, the Deans, and the Archdeacons of ECMN. Pray for the foundations that minister to children with special needs, especially for the work of the Sheltering Arms Foundation, and for all who work in child protection agencies throughout the state of Minnesota. We also pray for the parish of the Nativity (Burnsville).

Prepare the way, O Zion: The final week of “Reverse” Advent Calendar giving is this Sunday! Saint Nicholas Food Shelf is so appreciative of our help – they assist 80+ familieseach month. Fill your blue bag throughout the week from the shopping list and deliver to the baskets outside the Undercroft.

Saint Paul’s Little Library is perpetually popular! Children’s picture books and adult fiction are most needed; all donations can be placed in the bins outside the Undercroft. Your continued generosity helps make this outreach possible.

General Announcements

Deep appreciation to all who purchased gifts or gift cards for the residents and staff of Southside Care Center; their holiday joy was delivered yesterday on the 18th. Special thanks for the coordinating efforts of John Harrer and Meredith Johnson. 
Ministers in Liturgy and Coffee Hour volunteers: As we move toward Christmastide, please check your availability for December and January, then sign up for positions; customaries will be emailed your week of service. Contact Caytie Anderson or Pat Trumbull with questions.
The Undercroft carpet will be cleaned on Monday, 30 December. Please lend a hand after Coffee Hour on 29 December to help empty the Undercroft in preparation. Thank you!
Adorn the retable with flowers to mark important occasions or people in your life. Reserve the date you wish to give flowers by contacting Kathy Kullberg. Payment can be made online via Realm or a check made out to Saint Paul’s Church, with “flowers” in the memo; suggested donation $50.

Dear members and friends, This Sunday is the First Sunday of Advent. It is the first season of the Church year, leading up to Christmas. Advent is a time of preparation and expectation for the coming celebration of the birth of Jesus, the coming of Christ incarnate (the fully human and fully divine nature of God). I invite you onto this season of waiting and longing for the coming of Christ. Spend time in prayer and reflection and in reading the scriptures.
