The Reverend Ramona Scarpace, Rector

The Reverend Ramona Scarpace serves as Rector of Saint Paul’s Church on Lake of the Isles.

Ordained a priest in 2014, Ramona holds a Master of Divinity degree from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, and a Master of Public Administration from Hamline University. Prior to coming to Saint Paul’s, she served at Saint Mary’s in Saint Paul; Saint John in the Wilderness in White Bear Lake; Church of the Messiah on the Prairie Island Indian Reservation; and as the director of the State of Minnesota’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Ramona has served on both the Commission on Ministry and the Standing Committee of the Episcopal Church in Minnesota, and is an alternate delegate to The Episcopal Church USA 2024 National Convention.

Ramona is married to The Reverend Georgianna Smith, a deacon at Saint Clement’s Episcopal Church in Saint Paul. They share their home in New Brighton with dogs Vincenzo and Lily, and Bea the cat.
