Journey Through Holy Week
Holy Week begins on Palm Sunday, March 29. Holy Week is of the highest importance for Christians as we commemorate and journey with Jesus in the final days of his earthly ministry, his suffering, death, and resurrection. I invite you to participate fully in the Holy Week services at Saint Paul’s. On Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, and Easter Sunday, we welcome The Rev. Barbara del Caro Scaia as Deacon. See the service times listed below.
Palm Sunday, March 29, 10:00 am
• Commemorates Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusale m, celebrated with palm procession and the reading of the Passion Gospel.
Maundy Thursday, April 2, 7:00 pm
• Observes the Last Supper, and institution of the Eucharist. Humility, service, and love.
Good Friday, April 3, noon and 7:00 pm
• Commemorates Jesus’ crucifixion and death on the cross. Sacrifice, forgiveness, and reflection on redemption.
Easter Sunday, April 5, 10:00 am
• Celebrates the resurrection of Jesus with Holy Eucharist. Triumph, renewal, life!
• Join in fellowship after the liturgy for Coffee Hour and the annual Easter egg hunt (collect eggs, receive prizes!). All are welcome.
