Dear members and friends of Saint Paul’s,
Happy New Year! May the light of Christ guide you throughout 2025. As a faith community, we have much to look forward to in the coming year – beautiful and meaningful worship, Faith in Action opportunities, faith formation, faithful
innovation events, guest speakers, and more. We look forward to worshiping together every Sunday. Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, March 5, with services at noon and 7PM (in-person only). Holy Week and Easter services are also scheduled inside. Saint Paul’s Annual Meeting, including the election of Vestry members and new member welcome, takes place on Sunday, January 26, following 10AM worship. Enjoy a light lunch and social time after the meeting.
Back by popular demand, monthly Wednesday evening suppers (Wings and a Prayer, Soup and a Psalm) begin on January 8. Rev. Penny Warren will facilitate a Lenten Book Group starting on Tuesday, March 11. A Lenten Quiet
Day is scheduled for Saturday, March 29. Faith in Action initiatives including the Little Library, food shelf, and blessings bags continue. In February, we will add a second school supply collection for Ella Baker Magnet School.
New formation offerings include two book presentations:
- Humanorama by Gene Tierny; and Greg Schaffner’s final novel, The Iron Cow, presented by Julie
L’Enfant. - Participate in a virtual pilgrimage with Rev. Ramona Scarpace to
Lourdes, Fatima, and the Camino de Compostela. - Are you interested in learning more/refreshing your knowledge about the Episcopal Church? Join in
a three-part zoom class called “What have I gotten myself into??”
