BBQ at The Bridge for Homeless Youth

Its BBQ time at the Bridge.  This is a really great and fun event and I hope many of us can be there to help.

Temple Israel Committee to Eliminate Homelessness (TICEH) and St Paul’s Church are hosting a BBQ at The Bridge for Homeless Youth on Tuesday, July 11 at the corner of 22nd Street and Emerson.

We are looking for volunteers to serve the meal and provide baked goods.  If you want to serve food, we need you at The Bridge by 4:15 pm to help set up and be ready to serve the meal at 5:15 pm.  If you would like to provide a baked good or other dessert, but cannot be there for the BBQ, you can drop off baked goods clearly marked with “TICEH BFY BBQ” at the front desk at Temple Israel on Monday, July 10 or before 2 pm on Tuesday, July 11.  Your gift of homemade baked goods is appreciated every bit as much as your presence at the BBQ! Creating a caring community for youth in troubled situations makes an enormous positive difference. Each of your contributions play an integral part in working towards ending youth homelessness in Minneapolis.
