A message from Lorrie Sandelin at Joyce Uptown Food Shelf:

“Monetary donations are welcome! Right now we are doing a prepackaged food model, and so have a need for specific items. We can purchase food at our food banks much cheaper than you can purchase food right now: for every $1.00 donated we can purchase about $2.20 worth of food.”

And the king will answer them, “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.”Matthew 25:40

General Announcements

Spring Clean-Up is on its way! Ready your implements and gloves, and watch for the announcement of an April date from the good folks in Building & Grounds.
Lectors, please use our Google sheet to sign up for participation spots during Holy Week and the month of April (and May, if you really like to plan ahead). Contact Pat Trumbull with questions.
Reverend Ramona’s virtual office door is open: She is available Monday-Wednesday from 10:00am-3:00pm via Zoom, phone call, or text; pastoral care emergencies may be communicated at any time. Contact her at Saint Paul’s at 612-377-1273, or 612-201-6634 (cell/text). Her email address is [email protected].
The School for Formation is offering its Spring 2021 courses with donation-based tuition. One to consider is Anglican Theology, offered to laity and clergy in partnership with Church Divinity School of the Pacific, starting 12 April. Is there an area of faith you’ve always wished to explore more deeply? Check out SFF’s full course schedule here.
Senior Warden Mark Anderson shared the information from the February All Parish Meeting held on 28 February 2021:

Saint Paul’s has entreated the aid of Saint Joseph as we proceed with the sale of the Beim House. His statue was inhumed on Monday in a brief ceremony. You may lend your prayers during the listing and sale process (and see photos of the ceremony) by using the prayers here.
Is there a hymn or song you’re particularly longing to hear as part of our Bridge of Song playlist (link in right sidebar) on YouTube? Your requests are welcome; email them to Jacob Manier.
We have spaces to let in the Beim House and church proper for several officing tenants. If you know an individual or organization looking to relocate, contact Senior Warden Mark Anderson.
If you know a parishioner who would benefit from receiving our weekly E-pistle newsletter in printed form, please email Angie.

Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care Team has a request for all: as we practice our social distancing, do not let that extend to social isolation. Take a few minutes every day to call someone to see how they are doing – to reach out and say a prayer with them and/or find out if they need anything. One of the things that is so important right now is to connect with our community. If there are those who need help, please let us know and we will figure out how to assist; if you are that person, please reach out to Deacon Janet or Pat Trumbull. As Jesus said: Love one another.
