Prayer Calendar

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for the Church of the Province of Myanmar (Burma).

In the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer, we pray for all who serve those in need of food, clothing, and warm spaces during the cold winter months; for all ministries for our youngest members within the Episcopal Church in Minnesota; and for all those in our faith community who are involved with faith formation ministries with children, youth, and young adults. We also pray for the parish of the Holy Communion (Saint Peter).

Faith in Action

The Reverse Advent Calendar Food Drive was once again very successful – 30 bags of food and other essentials were delivered to Saint Nicholas Episcopal Church’s food shelf! Many thanks to all for your generous participation. Together we make a difference in people’s lives!

January’s donation theme is SOUP: cartons, cans, cups, or noodle bricks! Each week place your shelf-stable soups in the basket outside the Undercroft. Email Laurie (or call 612-849-1348) to help with delivery to the site of your choice.

General Announcements

Ministers in Liturgy and Hospitality Hosts are needed for liturgies in 2023 — plenty of opportunities await! Visit our Google sheet to sign up for a position or two; customaries will be emailed. Please contact Jacob with questions regarding the MIL, or Laurie Larsen regarding easier-than-ever Hosting.

Help wanted: It’s time to spiff up our tables and chairs in the Undercroft, so to ready them for the hospitality we’ll offer in the coming months. If you’re willing to participate in a morning of scrubbing (to be scheduled in January) contact Jacob to sign up.

Adorn the retable with flowers to mark important occasions or people in your life. Reserve the date you wish to give flowers on the kiosk in the Undercroft with your name and your desired thanksgiving/memorial. Payment can be made via Realm or a check made out to Saint Paul’s Church, with “flowers” in the memo; suggested donation $50.
