Feast of the Holy Family

Celebrate the Eucharist with us at 10:00AM, either in the pews or via Zoom (see instructions above). This week we welcome back the Rev. Dr. Penelope Warren as presider and preacher whilst Rev. Ramona is on vacation.

Join us for Coffee Hour fellowshipin the Undercroft following the liturgy, followed by the final Beloved Communiy Action video screening and summation discussion led by Gene Tierney.

Prayer Calendar

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for Le Province de L’Eglise Anglicane du Congo.

In the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer, we pray for all hospital chaplaincies, counseling chaplaincies, and Spiritual Directors throughout ECMN. Pray for our faith community nurses, health ministers, and all those who minister to the sick. Pray also for all farmers and laborers working with the harvest, especially San Jose Obrero Mission in Montgomery. We also pray for the parish of Calvary (Rochester).

15 AUG: The August Vestry meeting will be held 7-9PM in the Conference Room. All are welcome to attend the general proceedings. If you have an item for the agenda, please contact Rev. Ramona or one of the Wardens.

16 AUG: … and the dinner is easy! Join us for the final “Wings and a Prayer” supper from 6:00-7:15PM. Saint Paul’s will provide the main course (wings/brats/burger/etc) for the monthly gathering; you can bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to share.

Faith in Action

August’s food shelf donation theme is PANTRY PROTEINS:canned meats and fish, canned or dried beans, nuts etc. Each week place your items in the bins outside the Undercroft. p.s. General donations are always welome! Email Laurie (or call 612-849-1348) to assist with delivery.

Please look ahead to check your August availability, then visit our Google sheet to sign up for a position or two, or more; helpful customaries will be emailed. Contact Jacob with questions regarding the MIL, or Laurie Larsen regarding easier-than-ever Hosting.
Adorn the retable with flowers to mark important occasions or people in your life. Reserve the date you wish to give flowers on the kiosk in the Undercroft with your name and your desired thanksgiving/memorial. Payment can be made via Realm or a check made out to Saint Paul’s Church, with “flowers” in the memo; suggested donation is $50.
