A message from Lorrie Sandelin at Joyce Uptown Food Shelf:

“Monetary donations are welcome! Right now we are doing a prepackaged food model, and so have a need for specific items. We can purchase food at our food banks much cheaper than you can purchase food right now: for every $1.00 donated we can purchase about $2.20 worth of food.”

And the king will answer them, “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.”Matthew 25:40

General Announcements

Rev. Ramona will be out of the office from June 28 to July 3. For pastoral needs, please email Deacon Janet MacNally or phone 612.859.4579; for church business needs, email Senior Warden Mark Anderson or phone 763.607.2115.
Attention ALL Ministers in Liturgy: please use our Google sheet to sign up for reading and serving opportunities at liturgies in July!! Contact Pat Trumbull with questions.
Our move out of the Beim House is underway: As we transition to life on the Church Proper side of the building, we need your help for a few hours in July and August. Please follow this link to sign up for all shifts that could work for you; we’ll circle back to confirm dates and times for one shift in July and one for August. It’s especially critical that we have lots of help for the July dates, as we’ll be moving pew storage from the old organ loft (above the sacristy) to the undercroft. Contact Lu Whitney, Craig Carnahan, or Jacob Manier with questions, and thanks in advance for your help – we’re grateful!
Rev. Ramona’s summer hours (7/6-9/11): Mondays 12:30-3:30pm, Wednesdays 11:00am-3:00pm. Other times including evenings are available by appointment.  Please e-mail or call 612.201.6634. For pastoral emergencies, phone or text any time. Curious about how she spends her time?
Senior Warden Mark Anderson and Stewardship Chair Beth Carlson shared the information from the May All Parish Meeting held on 30 May 2021:

If you have questions, please reach out to your Wardens Mark or Steve (general church business), Beth (stewardship presentation), or any Vestry member.

Got vaccine? As we come together again as a community, Senior Warden Mark Anderson is compiling a list of vaccinated Saint Paulites. Email him to join the post-vaccine list, and let him know if your status may be shared with others.
Help beautify our sanctuary for worship: Adorn the retable with flowers to mark important occasions or significant events in your life. Contact Kathy Kullberg with your name, the date you wish to give flowers, and your desired dedication. Payment can be made via Realm or a check made out to Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, with “flowers” in the memo; suggested donation is $50.
Is there a hymn or song you’re particularly longing to hear as part of our Bridge of Song playlist (link in right sidebar) on YouTube? Your requests are welcome; email them to Jacob Manier.
If you know a parishioner who would benefit from receiving our weekly E-pistle newsletter in printed form, please email Angie.
When was the last time you signed into your Realm account? Never been there? It’s all good! If you need a refresher or a reset for your password, simply drop an email to Angie.

Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care Team has a request for all: as we practice our social distancing, do not let that extend to social isolation. Take a few minutes every day to call someone to see how they are doing – to reach out and say a prayer with them and/or find out if they need anything. One of the things that is so important right now is to connect with our community. If there are those who need help, please let us know and we will figure out how to assist; if you are that person, please reach out to Deacon Janet or Pat Trumbull. As Jesus said: Love one another.
