THIS WEEK at Saint Paul's

Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers,
for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.
Hebrews 13:2

The 10:00AM Eucharist will be offered from the pews and via Zoom (login instructions above). We celebrate with joy the Holy Baptism of Robert Haight.

Flowers on the retable this week are given to the glory of God and in memory of her parents, Archie and Rita, by Angie Paulson.

Join us for Coffee Hour snacks, puzzling, and fellowship in the Undercroft immediately following the morning’s service.

Pastoral visits with Communion: If your health or mobility renders you unable to attend on Sundays and you wish Rev. Ramona to bring Holy Communion to your home, please email her (or call/text at 612-201-6634).

Prayer Calendar

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for the Church of South India.

In the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer, we pray for all hospital chaplaincies, counseling chaplaincies, and Spiritual Directors throughout ECMN. Pray for our faith community nurses, health ministers, and all those who minister to the sick. We also pray for the parish of the Good Samaritan (Sauk Centre).

Faith in Action

Time’s almost up!
This year’s collection for the students of Ella Baker Global Sudies & Humanities Magnet School ends THIS SUNDAY, August 24. The shopping list can be found here; donations may be dropped off outside the Undercroft.

August’s food shelf theme is POWDERED BEVERAGES: lemonade, kids’ fruit drinks, iced tea, and the like. The food shelf has seen a huge uptick in use, and our collections have not been as robust. Please add them to your shopping list whenever able, and place your items in the bins outside the Undercroft. Email Liz Gamble Taylor or call 612-889-5250 to assist with delivery.
p.s. General donations are always welcome – thank you!!

Saint Paul’s Little Library is perpetually popular! Children’s picture books and adult fiction are most needed; all donations can be placed in the bins outside the Undercroft. Your continued generosity helps make this outreach possible.
Episcopal Relief & Development accepts donations to aid those in need both at home and abroad. Click here to donate in a way meaningful to you.

Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care Team has a request for all: as we practice our social distancing, do not let that extend to social isolation. Take a few minutes every day to call someone to see how they are doing – to reach out and say a prayer with them and/or find out if they need anything. One of the things that is so important right now is to connect with our community. If there are those who need help, please let us know and we will figure out how to assist; if you are that person, please reach out to Deacon Janet or Pat Trumbull. As Jesus said: Love one another.
