The Feast of Saints Peter and Paul marks the return to our altar after 15 months online! The Eucharist will be celebrated at 10:00am, followed by a joyous coffee hour (there will be no All Parish Meeting for June). Updated details of our return to the building can be read by clicking the yellow banner above. This liturgy can also be viewed live on Zoom; view the service bulletin below or download here.

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for the Church of Pakistan (United).

In the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer, we pray for all Ecumenical Ministries throughout Minnesota, especially the Minnesota Council of Churches and those who work with social service agencies. We also pray for the parish of Saint Anne (Sunfish Lake).

26 JUNE: June’s Collection Saturday is scheduled from 10:00am-4:00pm for curbside drop-off (or under the porte-cochère if raining); a list of requested donations can be found here. Please contact Liz Clarke with questions, and to volunteer for a 2-hour shift. Next month’s collection date: 24 July.

27 JUNE: The Feast of Saint Peter and Saint Paul (transferred) will be a day of double celebration: not only is it our patronal feast day, but it will mark THE RETURN TO OUR ALTAR!! Face-to-face Eucharist will be held at 1917 Logan at 10am, as well as on Zoom. Procedural details can be read here.

VIEW CHURCH CALENDAR

Every Wednesday – Join us for Sung Compline, a contemplative oasis for your midweek: gather on Zoom at 7:45pm to greet your neighbors, then the bells sound at 8:00 for Compline. We depart in silence, refreshed.

FRIDAYS: Lay-officiated Morning Prayer office will take place on Zoom at 10:00am. This liturgy, as set forth by the Book of Common Prayer (page 75), may be prayed communally or individually. We will come before God’s presence with thanksgiving on Friday mornings in August. Please join us! Use the same Zoom information for all our online service events, and you can find the weekly service bulletin on our home page.

Got vaccine? As we come together again as a community, Senior Warden Mark Anderson is compiling a list of vaccinated Saint Paulites. Email him to join the post-vaccine list, and let him know if your status may be shared with others.

Help beautify our sanctuary for worship: Adorn the retable with flowers to mark important occasions or significant events in your life. Contact Kathy Kullberg with your name, the date you wish to give flowers, and your desired dedication. Payment can be made via Realm or a check made out to Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, with “flowers” in the memo; suggested donation is $50.

Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care Team has a request for all: as we practice our social distancing, do not let that extend to social isolation. Take a few minutes every day to call someone to see how they are doing – to reach out and say a prayer with them and/or find out if they need anything. One of the things that is so important right now is to connect with our community. If there are those who need help, please let us know and we will figure out how to assist; if you are that person, please reach out to Deacon Janet or Pat Trumbull. As Jesus said: Love one another.
