This Sunday at Saint Paul's

Jesus said to him,“Go;
your faith has made you well.”
Mark 10:52
a
Ninteenth Sunday after Pentecost

Sunday morning Eucharist will be celebrated from our altar at 10:00am, which will also be livestreamed on Zoom (see link above) and archived for one week on our YouTube channel. You may view or download this week’s bulletin here.

The October All Parish Meeting will be held in the Nave immediately following the liturgy; the agenda can be read here. You may attend and participate either in person or on Zoom (see link above).

Please note: Our heating system repairs are nearly complete. In the interim, you may find the Nave a bit cooler than you’re used to. It is presently holding steady between 61-65˚F, but we expect the building to be toasty warm within the next week to ten days. Thanks for your cheerfulness and patience as we navigate the complicated process of closing on the Beim House sale and regulating our utilities.

Prayer Calendar

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for the extra-provincial churches.

In the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer, we pray for the Anglican Communion throughout the world, and for the Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury; and for the Episcopal Church USA, and the Most Rev. Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop.

Saint Paul’s weekly Parish Prayer List can be found here. If you wish to be contacted by a member of our Pastoral Care Team and/or priest, request prayers for yourself or someone else on the Parish Prayer List, or simply make someone aware of an acute or ongoing need, click the blue button below.

The Pastoral Care Team has a request for all: Take a few minutes every day to call someone to see how they are doing – to reach out and say a prayer with them and/or find out if they need anything. If there are those who need help, please let us know and we will figure out how to assist; if you are that person, please reach out to Reverend Ramona or Pat Trumbull. As Jesus said: Love one another.

Faith in Action

No clearer moral imperative: A letter from Bishop Loya

A message from Joyce Uptown Food Shelf:

“Monetary donations are welcome! Right now we are doing a prepackaged food model, and so have a need for specific items. We can purchase food at our food banks much cheaper than you can purchase food right now: for every $1.00 donated we can purchase about $2.20 worth of food.”

Please visit their website and look for the yellow DONATEbutton on the home page.

YouthLink now has a wish list on Amazon for direct purchasing of needed items. If this is a more convenient option for you to help them, visit their list here.

Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care Team has a request for all: as we practice our social distancing, do not let that extend to social isolation. Take a few minutes every day to call someone to see how they are doing – to reach out and say a prayer with them and/or find out if they need anything. One of the things that is so important right now is to connect with our community. If there are those who need help, please let us know and we will figure out how to assist; if you are that person, please reach out to Deacon Janet or Pat Trumbull. As Jesus said: Love one another.
