THIS WEEK at Saint Paul's

My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.  Psalm 121:2

The Stewardship Campaign for budget year 2026 is launching!
Click for the invitation from our Rector.

The 10:00AM Eucharist will be offered from the pews and via Zoom(login instructions above). The bulletin may be viewed or downloaded hereThe loose plate collection on third Sundays goes into the Rector’s discretionary account, used to assist people in need.

Join us for Coffee Hour snacks, puzzling, and fellowship in the Undercroft immediately following the morning’s service. Coffee Hour will then morph into our fall All-Parish Meeting. Stay to hear the juicy details from those in the know!

Special message: Given the federal shut down, SNAP benefits (food stamps) may not be available for those who rely on the program. Our food shelf partners–Joyce Uptown and Saint Nicholas–are sorely in need of items to meet this increased demand. This Sunday, please consider donating canned tuna, canned meat, canned fruit, peanut butter, and soups. Thank you for your generosity!

Pastoral visits with Communion: If your health or mobility renders you unable to attend on Sundays and you wish Rev. Ramona to bring Holy Communion to your home, please email her (or call/text at 612-201-6634).

Prayer Calendar

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for The Episcopal Church.

In the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer, we pray for the Anglican Communion throughout the world; The Episcopal Church; and our Presiding Bishop, The Most Reverend Sean W. Rowe. We also pray for the parishes of Saint Luke (Detroit Lakes, Hastings, Rochester).

Saint Paul’s Parish Prayer List can be found here.
If you wish to be contacted by a member of our Pastoral Care Team and/or priest, request prayers for yourself or someone else on the Parish Prayer List, or simply make someone aware of an acute or ongoing need, click the blue button below:

Faith in Action

URGENT – DONATION LEVELS ARE LOW!!
October’s food shelf theme is all things SUGAR: confectioner’s, granulated 4lb bags, brown, honey, artificial, and so on. BONUS: every pound of sugar items will be matched by an anonymous donor! Place items in the bins outside the Undercroft. Talk/text Laurie L at 612-849-1348 to assist with delivery.
p.s. General donations are always welcome!

Saint Paul’s Little Library is perpetually popular! Children’s picture books and adult fiction are most needed; all donations can be placed in the bins outside the Undercroft. Your continued generosity helps make this outreach possible.

Episcopal Relief & Development accepts donations to aid those in need both at home and abroad. Click here to donate in a way meaningful to you.

General Announcements

A new scam: If you are asked to share your own or other people’s contact information–even if it seems to come from a friend–please take a moment to double check the request! It could place personal details into the wrong hands. Click to see a recent example.
If it’s out of the blue, there’s a chance it’s not true!

Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care Team has a request for all: as we practice our social distancing, do not let that extend to social isolation. Take a few minutes every day to call someone to see how they are doing – to reach out and say a prayer with them and/or find out if they need anything. One of the things that is so important right now is to connect with our community. If there are those who need help, please let us know and we will figure out how to assist; if you are that person, please reach out to Deacon Janet or Pat Trumbull. As Jesus said: Love one another.
