Prayer Calendar

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for the Episcopal Church in the Philippines.

In the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer, we pray for all who would have or still may go to ECMN camps: Episcopal Creative Arts Daycamp, Episcopal Kids Camp, Episcopal Youth Quest Camp, Episcopal Youth Music Camp, Summer in the City, Episcopal Family Camp; and all who are who would have or still may embark on mission projects during the summer in the Episcopal Church in Minnesota. If COVID-19 does not allow our young people to participate, please hold them close in your prayers as they grieve what they will miss and dream of what is becoming. We also pray for the parishes of Saint James (Fergus Falls, Hibbing, Marshall, Minneapolis).

Saint Paul’s weekly Parish Prayer List can be found here. If you wish to be visited by a member of our Pastoral Care Team and/or deacon, request prayers for yourself or someone else on the Parish Prayer List, or simply make someone aware of an acute or ongoing need, click the blue button below.

A prayer request from Presiding Bishop Michael Curry: A Prayer for the Power of the Spirit Among the People of God.

The Pastoral Care Team has a request for all: as we practice our social distancing, do not let that extend to social isolation. Take a few minutes every day to call someone to see how they are doing – to reach out and say a prayer with them and/or find out if they need anything. One of the things that is so important right now is to connect with our community. If there are those who need help, please let us know and we will figure out how to do that. If you are that person, please inform Deacon Barbara or Pat Trumbull. As Jesus said: Love one another.

Faith in Action

The Outreach Commission update reflects Saint Paul’s passion for doing the work of the Church in the community. Read on, be inspired by the super sewing powers of one Rose Nightingale, and get involved!

A message from Lorrie Sandelin at Joyce Uptown Food Shelf:

“Monetary donations are welcome! Right now we are doing a prepackaged food model, and so have a need for specific items. We can purchase food at our food banks much cheaper than you can purchase food right now: for every $1.00 donated we can purchase about $2.20 worth of food.”

Please visit their website and look for the yellow DONATE button on the home page.
