Prayer Calendar

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for the Anglican Church of Korea.

In the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer, we pray for all academic graduates, educational institutions, and specialized chaplaincies in those institutions, remembering especially ECMN’s School for Formation, Breck School and Shattuck-Saint Mary’s and their chaplains, University Episcopal Community, and all those who work with campus ministries. We also pray for La Misión El Santo Niño Jesús (Saint Paul).

Saint Paul’s weekly Parish Prayer List can be found here. If you wish to be contacted by a member of our Pastoral Care Team and/or priest, request prayers for yourself or someone else on the Parish Prayer List, or simply make someone aware of an acute or ongoing need, click the blue button below.

A message from Lorrie Sandelin at Joyce Uptown Food Shelf:

“Monetary donations are welcome! Right now we are doing a prepackaged food model, and so have a need for specific items. We can purchase food at our food banks much cheaper than you can purchase food right now: for every $1.00 donated we can purchase about $2.20 worth of food.”

And the king will answer them, “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.”Matthew 25:40

General Announcements

The future of re-gatherinig at Saint Paul’s: Following the lead of the ECMN and taking into account the most recent information from the State of Minnesota and the CDC, our current-and-evolving plans for coming together are laid out in this document. Please read the the cover page for summary, and following pages for detail. You may posit questions to Junior Warden Steve Riendl.

Senior Warden Mark Anderson shared the information from the April All Parish Meeting held on 25 April 2021:

Got vaccine? As we start exploring how we might come together again as a community, Senior Warden Mark Anderson is compiling a list of vaccinated Saint Paulites. Email him to join the post-vaccine list, and let him know if your status may be shared with others.
Lectors, please use our Google sheet to sign up for reading at all liturgies in May. Opportunities await! Contact Pat Trumbull with questions.
Reverend Ramona’s virtual office door is open: She is available Monday-Wednesday from 10:00am-3:00pm via Zoom, phone call, or text; pastoral care emergencies may be communicated at any time. Contact her at Saint Paul’s at 612-377-1273, or 612-201-6634 (cell/text). Her email address is [email protected].
Is there a hymn or song you’re particularly longing to hear as part of our Bridge of Song playlist (link in right sidebar) on YouTube? Your requests are welcome; email them to Jacob Manier.
We have spaces to let in the Beim House and church proper for several officing tenants. If you know an individual or organization looking to relocate, contact Senior Warden Mark Anderson.
If you know a parishioner who would benefit from receiving our weekly E-pistle newsletter in printed form, please email Angie.

Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care Team has a request for all: as we practice our social distancing, do not let that extend to social isolation. Take a few minutes every day to call someone to see how they are doing – to reach out and say a prayer with them and/or find out if they need anything. One of the things that is so important right now is to connect with our community. If there are those who need help, please let us know and we will figure out how to assist; if you are that person, please reach out to Deacon Janet or Pat Trumbull. As Jesus said: Love one another.
