This Sunday at Saint Paul's

As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
Isaiah 66:13

Ninteenth Sunday after Pentecost

Celebrate the Eucharist with us at 10:00AM from Saint Paul’s altar; the service will also be livestreamed on Zoom. You may view or download the bulletin here. We welcome guest organist Trevor Wolter this week as Jacob enjoys some well-deserved time off. Thank you for sharing your ministry of music!

Kids’ Bible Story Time is available following the liturgy for our youngest worshippers.

Join us for Coffee Hour in the back of the Nave for fellowship and laughter!

Prayer Calendar

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for the Anglican Church of Tanzania.

In the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer, we pray for all participaing in the General Convention of the Episcopal Church July 7-14 in Baltimore. The legislative process of General Convention is an expression of The Episcopal Church’s belief that, under God, the Church is ordered and governed by its people: laity, deacons, priests, and bishops. We pray also for all who will attend ECMN camps, and all embarking on mission projects during the summer.

Saint Paul’s weekly Parish Prayer List can be found here. If you wish to be contacted by a member of our Pastoral Care Team and/or priest, request prayers for yourself or someone else on the Parish Prayer List, or simply make someone aware of an acute or ongoing need, click the blue button below.

Faith in Action

Resettlement Update 6/30:
Our sponsored family from Afghanistan is settling into their new home quite well! There are no household requests right now, but keep an eye to this spot to check for updates.

Food Shelf Challenge:
July is Keep it Clean month!
We will be collecting personal care products for our food shelf partners: soap, shampoo, deodorants and the like. You may drop off items each week in the basket in the Narthex. Your generosity is very much appreciated!

Can you help deliver donations? They can go to any Food Shelf convenient to you. Please contact Laurie Larsenwith questions, or to volunteer for delivery.

A message from Joyce Uptown Food Shelf:
“We can purchase food at our food banks much cheaper than you can purchase food right now: for every $1.00 donated we can purchase about $2.20 worth of food.”
Please visit their websiteand look for the yellow DONATE button on the home page.

Saint Paul’s Little Library: We are now in a good position for summer, typically our busiest season; however, our Little Library and Books for Africa always need recent adult fiction and children’s picture books.
The Ukraine Crisis Response Fund is still accepting donations to aid those displaced by the Russian invasion. Donate here.
YouthLink now has a wish list on Amazon for direct purchasing of needed items. If this is a more convenient option for you to help them, visit their list here.

And the king will answer them, “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.”
Matthew 25:40

Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care Team has a request for all: as we practice our social distancing, do not let that extend to social isolation. Take a few minutes every day to call someone to see how they are doing – to reach out and say a prayer with them and/or find out if they need anything. One of the things that is so important right now is to connect with our community. If there are those who need help, please let us know and we will figure out how to assist; if you are that person, please reach out to Deacon Janet or Pat Trumbull. As Jesus said: Love one another.
