Traffic Note: Twin Cities Marathon is Sunday, October 4

The Twin Cities Marathon starts at 8 am and its course covers 26 miles, starting in Minneapolis and ending in St. Paul. Please check the marathon route map to help you predict traffic tie-ups and give yourself ample time to make it to church on Sunday.

Celebrate the Eucharist with us at 10:00AM in person or via Zoom (login instructions above), featuring the Blessing of the Animals. The bulletin for this week may be viewed or downloaded here. Come with your companions leashed, crated, or caged for everyone’s comfort. Plushy friends and photos of animals are also welcome!

Join us for Coffee Hour fellowship, refreshments, puzzling, and Milk Bones in the Undercroft following the service.

Pastoral visits with Communion: If your health or mobility renders you unable to attend on Sundays and you wish Rev. Ramona to bring Holy Communion to your home, please email her (or call/text at 612-201-6634).

Prayer Calendar

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for the Igreja Episcopal Anglicana do Brasil.

In the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer, we pray for the Anglican Communion throughout the world; the Episcopal Church and our Presiding Bishop, the Most Rev. Sean W. Rowe; and the 169th ECMN Convention to be held October 23-24 in the Twin Cities.

Faith in Action

Warm weather Snack Bags can be found in the yellow-lidded bin outside the Undercroft. Please take several to keep in your car, and share them with neighbors in need!

Food shelf donations:
This month we’re looking for ground coffee in 8oz bags, or larger cans that can be divided (no expired or glass containers, please). Drop off all food donations outside the Undercroft. If you’d like to lend a hand with deliveries to Joyce Uptown Food Shelf, contact Laurie Larsen.

Saint Paul’s Little Library is perpetually popular! Children’s picture books and adult fiction are still most needed; all donations can be placed in the bins outside the Undercroft. Your continued generosity helps make this outreach possible.

Episcopal Relief & Development accepts donations to aid those in need both at home and abroad. Click here to donate in a way meaningful to you.

Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care Team has a request for all: as we practice our social distancing, do not let that extend to social isolation. Take a few minutes every day to call someone to see how they are doing – to reach out and say a prayer with them and/or find out if they need anything. One of the things that is so important right now is to connect with our community. If there are those who need help, please let us know and we will figure out how to assist; if you are that person, please reach out to Deacon Janet or Pat Trumbull. As Jesus said: Love one another.
