Dear Members and Friends of Saint Paul’s,

Thank you to all who attended our Annual Meeting and luncheon on January 28! Congratulations and gratitude to our 2024 Vestry members: Caytie Anderson (Senior Warden); Lu Whitney (Junior Warden); Tom Lockhart (Treasurer); Laurie Larsen (Clerk), Frank Johnson, Deb Low, Donald Childress, Peter Montgomery (Members-at-Large); and Gene Tierney (Strategic Planning Coordinator, non-voting member). We also give thanks for Saint Paul’s delegates to the ECMN Convention in November: Meredith Johnson, John Harrer, Judy Johnson (alternate).

As we discussed at the Annual Meeting, we have much to look forward to in 2024. Opportunities include beautiful and meaningful worship planned for every Sunday, as well as Ash Wednesday, Lent, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Day, and Pentecost.

Faith in Action/Outreach opportunities include the Little Library, Saint Nicholas Food Shelf, Beloved Community Action discussions, and Blessing Bags for people who may be experiencing homelessness. We also hope to add an Earth Day event in April, commit to another Harvest Pack event, and assist one Sunday afternoon in preparing meals at First Nations Kitchen.

By popular demand, our once-a-month Wednesday dinner and prayer events will continue. And we have three new learning opportunities: The Rev. Dr. Penny Warren will offer a Lenten book discussion; a Lenten quiet/retreat day; and The Rev. Barbara del Caro Scaia will facilitate a grief discussion and support group. See the Programming Guide for full details. Additions to programming may be added as opportunities and resources become available. Watch the E-pistle for updates.

Join in. Worship. Learn. Explore. Give back, Socialize. Bring family and friends. Excitement awaits! All are welcome!

In God’s love and peace,
Caytie Anderson, Senior Warden
Lu Whitney, Junior Warden
Rev. Ramona Scarpace, Rector
