Southside Care Center Giving Tree

Once again we have a list of Christmas wishes from the residents of Southside Care Center who are among those in our community without much to brighten their days. So here’s the plan to make their Christmas special: call or text me after 10am on Saturday 28 November at 612-306-0302 to adopt a recipient (leave your first and last name on message or in text), and I will check them off the list. Since it’s first come, first serve, PLEASE DO NOT start shopping until I have confirmed your pairing! I will respond to requests in the order received. Below you will find the first name, gender, gift wish, and size, if applicable. In addition to resident gifts we will also collect money to buy gift cards for the Southside staff members who, like many workers in their field, are underpaid. Simply make a donation to Saint Paul’s by check or through Realm, with “Southside” in the memo.

We ask you to please wrap your gift and securely attach a gift tag bearing the recipient’s name. Bring your gifts to Saint Paul’s and safely drop them off curbside (wear your mask!) on Saturday, December 19th, between 10 and 11am, and we will deliver them en masse to Southside. If the 19th just won’t work for you, call and we can make other arrangements.
