Happy Spring, everyone!
This Sunday at Saint Paul’s:
Our Pentecost liturgy begins as a congregational procession starting in the narthex and, while chanting the hymn Veni Creator Spiritus, takes us to various stations in the church to hear readings appointed for the day. Music by Healey Willan, Eugène Gigout, and an improvised soundscape based on a passage from Acts: “And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind… divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them.”
Commission Saturday is THIS SATURDAY, 19 May. Please click this link to read more about it, and to register online.
Save the Date! Our annual Spring Clean-Up day is fast approaching. Please put 2 June on your calendar, and watch this space for details from the Building & Grounds Commission.
Groveland and Joyce Uptown Food Shelves joyfully receive Saint Paul’s weekly donations of personal care and non-perishable food. Please bring items to church as part of your weekly offering, and place in the baskets at the Narthex doors. Thank you!

Thank you to the Faith Formation Commission for hosting Coffee Hour this week.
Next week, the entire parish is invited to bring a treat!
Coffee Hour will be an opportunity for faith formation for all generations throughout Lent. We will journal, play games, dance, plant gardens in the Undercroft – all while reflecting on what it means to be a Christian. You are invited to bring your whole family each week to share in this experience with us.
Help beautify our sanctuary for worship
Give altar flowers to mark important occasions or significant events in your life. Write us a note or email, telling us your name, the date you wish to give flowers, and your desired dedication. Checks should be made out to Saint Paul's Episcopal Church, with "altar flowers" in the memo; suggested donation is $50.
