E-pistle for Friday 7 April 2017

Saint Paul's ChurchChurch News, E-PISTLE

This Sunday at Saint Paul’s:

Hosanna!! We will gather for the Palm Sunday procession in the Undercroft, and make our way into the Nave with palms and bells; if forecasted rains find us, we will process indoors. Thank you to all who have volunteered to read the Passion gospel roles this morning.

This is the final day to make contributions for Easter flowers. Please sign up in the Narthex, clearly printing your memorial or thanksgiving designation.

Thank you to the Faith Formation Commission for hosting coffee hour today. Next week: the Parish Life Commission hosts our Easter gathering.

Food and personal care items are collected each Sunday in the baskets at the Narthex doors and delivered to Groveland Food Shelf’s ministry to homeless youth. Please consider bringing an item or two weekly as part of your offering. Our April theme is BABIES: Imagine being a young parent or grandparent of a baby, and not having enough to feed yourself or your family; what would you want to find at Groveland? Please consider diapers, formula, pacifiers, baby food, teething cookies – whatever a baby might need, any size or type. There is also continuing need of paper, plastic, and reusable bags. Thanks to Ashley for delivering during April.

Choir Diary

Are you in the new online membership directory? Email notifications were sent to every Saint Paulite, inviting you to create an account for accessing your personal record with Realm, our new online church management system. Be sure to adjust your privacy settings so fellow parishioners can see your contact information. And don’t forget to add your photo – it’s a great way for people (like a new rector) to learn your name! See Angie and her laptop during coffee hour with any questions.

Saint Paul’s has a new tax number. If you are carrying and using a copy of the old certificate, see Jacob Manier for a new one.

A gentle reminder: If you would like to use the kitchen at Saint Paul’s, please remember to check its availability by consulting the calendar outside the kitchen, and then sign up to use the space. We have had some overbooking recently, and would like to avoid any confusion. Thank you!
